Fatal traffic accident in Ngau Tau Kok

At about 5.40pm, a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) driven by a 46-year-old man was traveling along Kwun Tong Bypass towards Sha Tin. Upon reaching the Prince Edward Road East (Link Road), it reportedly knocked down the 41-year-old man.
Sustaining serious injuries in hands and legs, the man was rushed to United Christian Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 8.17pm.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East is underway.
