Government to adjust opening hours of Children Community Vaccination Centres and COVID-19 Vaccination Stations at public hospitals

     The Government will adjust the opening hours of the four Children Community Vaccination Centres (CCVCs) and 13 COVID-19 Vaccination Stations at public hospitals from April.
 
     Starting from April 1, four CCVCs at Hong Kong Children's Hospital, Yuen Chau Kok Sports Centre, Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong and Tsuen Wan Sports Centre will open daily from 10am to 6pm, providing the BioNTech vaccine to children aged 5 to 11. The CCVCs will be closed daily between 1.30pm and 2.30pm for cleaning.
 
     The COVID-19 Vaccination Stations at public hospitals will open on weekdays except public holidays starting from April 2 to provide the BioNTech vaccination to the public without prior booking.
 
     The 13 COVID-19 Vaccination Stations at public hospitals are located at Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, Tseung Kwan O Hospital, Caritas Medical Centre, Prince of Wales Hospital, Queen Mary Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Tuen Mun Hospital, Pok Oi Hospital, North District Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital, Ruttonjee Hospital, Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital and Yan Chai Hospital.
 
     Except for the vaccination station at Princess Margaret Hospital, the new opening hours of the remaining vaccination stations will be from 10am to 7pm on weekdays except public holidays. Last vaccination will be at 6.30pm. The vaccination station at Princess Margaret Hospital will operate from 9am to 6pm on weekdays except public holidays. Last vaccination will be at 5.30pm. All vaccination stations will remain open during lunch hours.
 
     The Government will send notifications via SMS to persons with a booking affected by the adjustment and inform them of their new appointment date and time for vaccination.
 
     A government spokesman said that the adjustment was made having regard to the demand for vaccination, and in order to achieve utilisation of the precious medical and nursing manpower by flexible deployment to other vaccination work, including a home vaccination scheme to be launched by the Government. The relevant details will be announced in due course.
 
     The designated website for the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme (www.covidvaccine.gov.hk/en/programme) provides the latest information including details on vaccination venues, reservation and enquiry hotlines.
