Fatal traffic accident in Tsuen Wan

At about 1.45pm, a motorcycle driven by the 40-year-old woman was travelling along the second lane of Tsuen Tsing Interchange while a private car driven by a 62-year-old man was travelling along the first lane of Tsuen Tsing Interchange. Upon reaching near Texaco Road, the motorcycle reportedly cut the lane and collided with the private car.
Sustaining serious head injury, the woman was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 2.33pm today.
The private car driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for further enquiries.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South is underway.
