Vacancies in Kwun Tong District Council and North District Council

     The Government declared by notices in the Gazette today (April 30) the existence of three vacant elected seats in the Kwun Tong District Council Hip Hong Constituency and Lai Ching Constituency and the North District Council Ching Ho Constituency.     

     Following the resignation of elected members Mr Li Ka Tat and Mr Bux Sheik Anthony of the Kwun Tong District Council and Mr Yuen Ho Lun of the North District Council, the office of Mr Li has become vacant since April 19, 2021, while the offices of Mr Bux and Mr Yuen will become vacant on June 1, 2021, pursuant to section 26(b) of the District Councils Ordinance (Cap. 547).
