Political Assistant to Secretary for Home Affairs to leave post

In response to media enquiries, a Government spokesman confirmed today (January 15) that the Political Assistant to the Secretary for Home Affairs, Ms Jade Lai Wing-yu, has tendered resignation due to her need to take care of her family. She is currently on leave and will leave the Government with effect from January 20.

The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Caspar Tsui, thanked Ms Lai for her contribution during her tenure and wished her a happy life, the spokesman added.
