HK Public Libraries launches 40 selected e-books and roving exhibition in January to encourage e-reading
******************************************************************************************
To promote e-reading, the Hong Kong Public Libraries of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department has launched an online webpage, "Take a Break - eReading Corner" for members of the public to read online or download 40 e-books selected from the library's collection until January 31. A roving exhibition will also be held in shopping malls in various districts for the public to experience the joy of e-reading.

The 40 e-books selected from the popular HyRead and SUEP Chinese e-book collections are classified into four categories - "Live Smart", "Creative Art", "Heartfelt Sharing by Celebrities" and "Joy of Reading" - according to the content and book types for readers to choose according to their personal interests and needs. By clicking www.hkpl.gov.hk/ereading-corner, members of the public can read online or download the books without logging in to their library accounts.
