SCED to visit the Philippines

The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Edward Yau, will depart for Manila, the Philippines, tomorrow (November 11) to attend the signing ceremony of the Hong Kong - Association of Southeast Asian Nations Free Trade Agreement and a related Investment Agreement to be held on November 12.

Mr Yau will return to Hong Kong in the evening on November 12. During Mr Yau's absence, the Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Dr Bernard Chan, will be the Acting Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development.
