SED saddened by passing of Professor Ma Lin

"Professor Ma joined the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 1964 and was appointed as the second Vice-Chancellor of the University from 1978 to 1987. Under his sterling leadership, CUHK successfully evolved to become a leading education and research institution of Hong Kong. Professor Ma also played a pivotal role in establishing Shaw College, which is the fourth constituent college of CUHK," Mr Yeung said.
He said he believed that CUHK and the higher education sector at large would never forget the contributions of the distinguished biochemist and educator.
