Man holding charged with murder

     Police today (October 16) laid a holding charge against a 34-year-old man with one count of murder.

     The man was arrested on October 14 in suspected connection with a murder and attempted suicide case in Kwai Chung on October 8 in which his 77-year-old mother died.

     The case will be mentioned at West Kowloon Magistrates’ Courts tomorrow (October 17).
