SHA to visit Kyoto and Tianjin

     The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Lau Kong-wah, will leave Hong Kong in the morning on August 25 for Kyoto, Japan, to attend the China-Japan-South Korea Cultural Ministers' meeting. Mr Lau will attend the meeting as a member of the Chinese delegation.

     Mr Lau will depart for Tianjin on August 26 to attend the opening ceremony of the 13th National Games of the People's Republic of China as the head of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Delegation. In Tianjin, he will visit the Athletes’ Village and watch competitions to support Hong Kong athletes.

     Mr Lau will leave Tianjin in the afternoon on August 29 and return to Hong Kong.
