Elderly Pedestrian Safety Tour in Hong Kong Island successfully held

The Road Safety Council (RSC), Traffic Hong Kong Island of the Hong Kong Police Force, the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol (Hong Kong Island and Islands) and Citybus Limited/New World First Bus Services Limited jointly held the Elderly Pedestrian Safety Tour in Hong Kong Island this afternoon (June 20).
The event's launch at Siu Sai Wan Community Hall was officiated by Superintendent of Police (Investigation and Support), Traffic Hong Kong Island, Mr Francis Mak; Chief Inspector of Police, Road Safety Unit, Traffic Branch Headquarters, Mr Angus Choy; the District Commander (Wan Chai) of the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol (Hong Kong Island and Islands), Dr Horace Mui; Liaison Officer (Chai Wan) of the Eastern District Office, Ms Vivian So; the Chairman of the Eastern District Road Safety Campaign Committee, Dr Liu Kai-ming; the Public Affairs Manager of Citybus Limited/New World First Bus Services Limited, Mr Kevin Li; and the Chairlady of the Wah Ha Great China Culture and Arts Association, Ms Christina Tin.
After the launch ceremony, the guests took an open-top bus through the Chai Wan area to distribute elderly pedestrian safety leaflets to deliver the road safety message to the public.
