***************************************************************
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) will hold "Storm the Park Day - Splish Splash@Tin Yip Road Park" in Yuen Long District on July 1 (Saturday), offering a variety of water fun activities free of charge for members of the public.
"Splish Splash@Tin Yip Road Park" is one of the events celebrating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Participants can play on a giant inflatable water slide, a water-fun maze, shaking boats and water bouncy castles as well as enjoy giant bubble blowers at the park on the summer day. There will also be other fun-filled activities like interesting water game booths and a photo corner.
The LCSD has been organising a series of "Storm the Park" events for the parks of different districts across the territory since December last year, attracting about 6 000 people to join in and have fun. It will continue to hold more "Storm the Park" activities in the coming months.
"Splish Splash@Tin Yip Road Park" will be held at the artificial turf pitch of Tin Yip Road Park from 9.30am to 12.30pm on July 1. People of all ages are welcome to join on the spot. Admission is free. For enquiries, please contact the Yuen Long District Leisure Services Office at 2478 4342 during office hours, or visit the LCSD webpage www.lcsd.gov.hk/en/storm/days.html.
