CE meets Secretary of CPC Foshan Municipal Committee (with photo)

The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, met the Secretary of the CPC Foshan Municipal Committee, Mr Lu Yi, at Government House today (June 5) to exchange views on issues of mutual concern.

Mr Leung mentioned that he had earlier led a delegation to visit Foshan to see the city's infrastructure and planning as well as developments relating to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area. Given that Hong Kong and Foshan has established close ties in various areas, Mr Leung said that the two places could mutually benefit from strengthening co-operation to tie in with the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area.
