SED to attend Annual Meeting of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau University Alliance in Shenzhen

The Secretary for Education (SED), Mr Eddie Ng Hak-kim, will visit Shenzhen next Tuesday (June 6) to attend and give opening remarks at the Annual Meeting of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau University Alliance cum Presidents' Forum to be held at the Chinese University of Hong Kong's Shenzhen Research Institute in the afternoon.

Mr Ng will then visit the Cross-boundary Students Service Centre (Luohu, Shenzhen) of the International Social Service Hong Kong Branch (ISS-HK), where he will meet with representatives of ISS-HK and parents of Hong Kong children residing in Shenzhen to learn about updates of the services provided by the Centre as well as the schooling and daily life of the students.

Mr Ng will return to Hong Kong in the evening on the same day. While he is on the duty visit, the Under Secretary for Education, Mr Kevin Yeung, will be the Acting SED.
