CE to depart Hong Kong for CPPCC event

The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, will depart Hong Kong for Beijing tomorrow (May 25) to attend an event of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in his capacity as the Vice-Chairman of the National Committee of CPPCC.

Mr Leung will return to Hong Kong on the same day. During his absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, will be the Acting Chief Executive.
