Tender awarded for site in Cheung Sha Wan

The Lands Department today (May 10) announced that the tender for a site, New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6582 at Lai Chi Kok Road near Cheung Shun Street, Cheung Sha Wan, Kowloon, has been awarded to the highest tenderer, Good Sense Development Limited (parent company: New World Development Company Limited), on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $4,028.8 million.
The tenderers, other than the successful tenderer, in alphabetical order, with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets, were:
(1) Century Opal Limited (Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited)
(2) Conford Investments Limited (Cheung Kong Property Holdings Limited)
(3) Joy Fast Investment Limited (Fast Forward Global Limited)
(4) Joy Vision Limited (Sino Land Company Limited and K. Wah Properties (Holdings) Limited)
(5) Sky Bloom Investment Limited (S E A Holdings Limited)
(6) Treasure Way (Hong Kong) Limited
(7) Tristar Capital Limited (Wheelock Properties Limited)
New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6582 has a site area of about 4,171 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding residential, godown and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 30,031 sq m and 50,052 sq m respectively. Both include the gross floor area of Government accommodation, being a child care centre and a neighbourhood elderly centre sub-base, and a public vehicle park to be constructed by the purchaser.
