Community thematic carnival "Little Green in the West" to be held at Belcher Bay Park in Kennedy Town this Sunday

The community thematic carnival "Little Green in the West" will be held on Sunday (May 14) from 3.30pm to 6.30pm at Belcher Bay Park in Kennedy Town. The event will feature a variety of entertaining performances, workshops and activities. Admission is free.
Carnival-goers can enjoy interesting programmes including a marching band performance, a choir performance, children's theatre, juggling performances, a clown show, dance, a puppetry performance and an interactive story concert. At the lawn, there will also be a variety of interactive music performances such as a ukulele show, body music, a community orchestra and singing by local singer-songwriters Tse Chin-tung and Tse Chin-lui.
Participants may join the fun of guided tours including a walk with Kennedy Town residents along the Praya and listening to their daily stories. In addition, another guided tour to local attractions such as the Seven Terraces of Sai Wan, Kwun Lung Lau and the Forbes Street masonry wall trees will also be featured.
Other entertainment for parents and their children will include family reading, building blocks, hand painting, family drawing, storytelling, a recycled bottle art workshop, a creative body movement workshop and a hoop dance workshop. Clowns, jugglers and puppetry masters will roam around the venue to interact with attendees.
