Chief Executive-elect to receive instrument of appointment in Beijing

   The Chief Executive-elect, Mrs Carrie Lam, will depart for Beijing in the afternoon on April 9 (Sunday) and return in the afternoon on April 12 (Wednesday).

     While in Beijing, Mrs Lam will receive from Premier Li Keqiang the instrument of appointment as the Fifth Term Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

     The Secretary-General of the Chief Executive-elect's Office, Mrs Jessie Ting; the Private Secretary, Mr Sidney Chan; and the Press Secretary, Mr Terence Yu, will accompany Mrs Lam. The Chief Executive-elect's husband, Mr Lam Siu-por, will also join the visit.
