Police are investigating a murder and suicide case in Tseung Kwan O yesterday (5 April) in which a 45-year-old woman and a ten-year-old girl died.

     At about 6.43 pm yesterday, Police received reports that a woman and a girl fell from height on 15 Pui Shing Road. Police officers sped to the scene and found the 45-year-old woman and her ten-year-old daughter lying unconscious on the ground outside the above location. The girl was certified dead at scene. The woman was rushed to Tseung Kwan O Hospital and was certified dead at 7.01pm.

     Post-mortem examinations will be conducted to ascertain the cause of their death.

     Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Kwun Tong District are underway.
