The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Lau Kong-wah, will depart for Beijing in the afternoon on Thursday (April 6).

     Mr Lau, together with the Commissioner for Sports, Mr Yeung Tak-keung, and members of the Hong Kong sports sector, will call on officials of the General Administration of Sport of China and visit sports facilities. While in Beijing, Mr Lau will also meet with officials from the Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs of the Ministry of Culture.

     Mr Lau will return to Hong Kong in the afternoon on April 8.
