Following is the transcript of remarks made by the Secretary for Food and Health, Dr Ko Wing-man, after attending a radio programme today (March 25):
Reporter: (On Government expenditure on public health and medical services)
Secretary for Food and Health: No, I don't think any government can free itself from any financial constraint. Overall financial fidelity and prudence is necessary. I am only saying that in regard of people's livelihood, under the very important issues of food safety, health services, social welfare, education, any responsible government should aim at doing more for Hong Kong people. That’s all what I said.
