Light aircraft accident

"The CAD's Air Traffic Control Tower received a report from the pilot of B-HHN at around 11.15am that he was conducting an emergency landing at a driving range due to technical issues. The CAD immediately initiated the emergency alerting procedure and notified relevant parties to standby in the vicinity. B-HHN was subsequently found hanging on the trees near the Garden Farm Golf Centre, with its left wing broken. The pilot and a passenger on board the aircraft were sent to the hospital for examination. The accident did not cause any injury or damage to any persons or properties on the ground," the spokesman said.
The Chief Inspector of Accidents ordered an inspector's investigation in accordance with the Hong Kong Civil Aviation (Investigation of Accidents) Regulations (Chapter 448B). An investigation team has been set up for the follow-up work.
