CE receives CS' resignation

The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, today (January 12) received the resignation tendered by the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mrs Carrie Lam, and has submitted it to the Central People's Government.

Mrs Lam will proceed on leave tomorrow (January 13). During this period, the Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, will be the Acting Chief Secretary for Administration.
