Update on imported human case of avian influenza A(H7N9)

     The Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health today (January 8) reported an update on the third human case of avian influenza A(H7N9) in Hong Kong this winter.
 
     Among the close contacts, the healthcare worker of Yan Chai Hospital with mild symptoms reported earlier tested negative for influenza A virus. As for the other contacts, a symptomatic relevant in-patient tested negative for influenza A virus.
