Dance drama "Legend of the Fiery Dragon" to showcase energy of Hong Kong dancers

"Legend of the Fiery Dragon" is derived from the tradition of the Tai Hang fire dragon dance. It presents an ordinary yet inspirational story which looks into Hong Kong's evolution in ways that are poetic, nostalgic and uplifting.
The performing troupes include Yuen Hai Artiste Troupe, Ho Ho Chuen Dance Troupe, Elegance Society Dance Troupe, Dancing Group of Worker's Club, Sound of Wave Dance Group, Ta Ge See, Hibiscus Group, Wan Zi Qian Hong Yi Shu Tuan, Dance & Martial Arts Centre, Yuen Hai Children Dance Art Society, Abby Dance Studio and Pearl Arts. The choreographers include Law Yiu-wai, Ho Ho-fei, Tong Lok, Lai Siu-ling, Fok Man-yee, Quanette Hung, Lee Pui-pui, Cheung Sau-fan, Fan Hing-on, Chan Yi, Tang Xin and Henry Shum.
Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, "Legend of the Fiery Dragon" by the Association of Hong Kong Dance Organizations will be staged at 8pm on February 18 (Saturday) and at 3pm on February 19 (Sunday) at the Auditorium of Kwai Tsing Theatre.
