The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health today (December 16) reported that the suspected case of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) pending results yesterday (December 15) tested negative for MERS Coronavirus upon preliminary testing by the CHP's Public Health Laboratory Services Branch.
