The Returning Officers (except religious subsector) for the 2016 Election Committee Subsector Ordinary Elections received a total of 239 nomination forms today (November 10). This brings to 1046 the total number of nomination forms received since nominations for the Election Committee Subsector Ordinary Elections opened on November 8. The nomination period will end on November 14.
 
     For each subsector/sub-subsector, a poll will be held on December 11 if there is contested election for that subsector/sub-subsector.

     Two designated bodies of the religious subsector handed in nomination forms today, involving a total of 23 nominees. Three nomination forms have been received since the start of the nomination period, involving a total of 56 nominees. Nominations for this subsector are returned by six designated bodies.
