ArtSnap mini-festival to continue at Kwai Tsing Theatre this weekend (with photo)

This weekend's programmes will include "Blind Cinema" (in Cantonese) by Britt Hatzius (UK). Audience members will be blindfolded and hear the hushed descriptions of young children who are watching a video, creating a unique audio-visual experience. Another production, the multimedia dance work "MatchAtria", is sold out due to an overwhelming response.
"The Future Show", performed by Hong Kong artists Amy Tam and Alan Wong in Cantonese, will continue this weekend. Based on Deborah Pearson's original concept, the show will see the duo share their unique script about life.

The free event "Hear a Pin Drop Here" by Holly Rumble (UK) invites participants to take a pin and track down places in the vicinity of the Kwai Tsing Theatre where they can actually hear a pin drop. Other free programmes such as the interactive sound installation "The Megaphone Project", an encounter between lion dance masters and choreographers in "The Lion Rocks!" and the site-specific themed "performances" of "Imaginary Festival" will also continue this weekend.
Organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the New Vision Arts Festival is running from October 21 to November 20 to feature an array of pioneering shows by local and overseas performing groups. Showcasing innovative interdisciplinary collaborations and electrifying new perspectives on the arts, the festival offers new experiences for audiences.
