Labour Department organises seminar on Employment Ordinance

     The Labour Department has called for enrolment for a seminar on the Employment Ordinance on September 6 (Tuesday) at 2.30pm at Lecture Theatre, 4/F, West Block, Education Bureau Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre, 19 Suffolk Road, Kowloon Tong.

     The main provisions of the Employment Ordinance (including wages, leave and termination of contract) and points to note for the employment of foreign domestic helpers, the Minimum Wage Ordinance and employers' obligations under the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance will be introduced.

     The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese and admission is free. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and the enrolment deadline is August 30. The enrolment form can be downloaded from the department's website (www.labour.gov.hk). For enquiries, please call 2399 2386.
