Residents recount public housing advances
*****************************************

This year marks the 60th anniversary of Hong Kong's public housing development. The basic resettlement blocks of the 1950s have evolved into housing estates with quality designs and comprehensive facilities that more than 3 million Hong Kong people are happy to call home.

In an interview with news.gov.hk, public housing estate residents Chan Sing-tong and Lam Mei-sin took a trip down memory lane, to recount highlights of bygone days and describe enhancements to the estates' designs and facilities.

The story appears today (October 27) on news.gov.hk in both text and video format.
