Consultation on proposed legislation to regulate the sale of first-hand residential Properties to end on January 28

     The public consultation on the proposed legislation to regulate the sale of first-hand residential properties will close on January 28 (Saturday).

     A spokesman for the Transport and Housing Bureau (THB) said that members of the public may continue to send in their views on the subject before the closing date by e-mail, fax, post or the designated e-Forum. The e-Forum will close at midnight on January 28.

     Views and suggestions collected in this consultation exercise will be published in their original form in a compendium as part of the consultation report. The Government will take the views and suggestions received into consideration before finalising the proposed legislation and formally introducing a bill into the Legislative Council.

     The consultation paper has been uploaded onto a dedicated webpage on the THB website
