Registered electors are reminded to report any change in address or other registration particulars to the Registration and Electoral Office (REO) by August 29.
"Failure to do so may affect their eligibility to vote in the District Council election in November this year," a spokesman for the REO said today (August 23).
"To support environmental protection, electors are also encouraged to provide or update their email addresses, which will be provided to the candidates concerned for sending election advertisements," he added.
Relevant forms can be downloaded from the voter registration website (www.voterregistration.gov.hk) and obtained from the REO, Public Enquiry Service Centres of the District Offices, and management offices of public housing estates.
Completed forms can be returned to the REO by mail to 10/F, Guardian House, 32 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai, or by fax to 2891 1180.
For enquiries, please call 2891 1001.
