An exhibition of the winners and entries of the 9th Inter-School Stamp Exhibits Competition will be held at Central Atrium, G/F, Olympian City 2, from April 18 to 21, 2008. The competition is organised by Hongkong Post, with the Education Bureau as the co-organiser.
The exhibition is open to the public and admission is free. Apart from displaying the exhibits from students, there will also be an interesting array of activities, including philatelic workshops and guided tours, designed to foster a broader interest in stamp collecting. A Hongkong Post sales booth with a variety of popular recent stamp issues will be available for customers to choose their favourite stamp products. The exhibition's opening hours are from 3pm to 7pm on April 18, from 11am to 7pm on April 19 and 20, and from 11am to 4pm on April 21.
To mark the event this year, Hongkong Post will issue a souvenir cover together with a special postmark and a commemorative cachet. Souvenir covers will be available for sale for HK$2 each at 37 philatelic offices from April 3 to 18, 2008. A hand-back datestamping service will be provided at the exhibition venue and at 37 philatelic offices on April 18.
