2007 Village Representative Elections: Overall turnout rate

    The second polling day of 2007 Village Representative Elections ended at 7pm today (January 7).  

     A total of 75 candidates from 30 villages contested for 39 seats, including 24 Indigenous Inhabitants Representatives (IIR) and 15 Resident Representatives (RR), in the IIR and RR Elections.

     A total of 4,045 out of the 6,037 registered voters cast their votes, representing an overall turnout of 67%.
