Transcript of CE's media session in Beijing (with photos)
*********************************************************

Following is the transcript of a media session (English portion) by the Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, in Beijing this afternoon (December 29):

Reporter: Are you quite satisfied with the meetings with the state leaders? What are those major areas where the state leaders are actually looking for some improvement in you and in the SAR Government?

Chief Executive: All my activities are transparent to you. I am generally very gratified with the outcome of this visit, although I have been very busy, visiting all ministries and national leaders. They have given us sufficient encouragement and recognition for what we have delivered. They have reminded us quite rightly that while things are going very well for us, we must not be complacent. We must work on this basis and strike for higher goals. And that's exactly what I am going to do for the remainder of my term.

Reporter: I wish to ask about Ching Cheong's case. His family has given you a letter to be handed to the state leaders. Did you have an opportunity to mention this case at your meetings with them?

Chief Executive: Mr Ching Cheong's case has always been in my mind. I have been endeavouring to help the family as much as possible. I will continue to do that for the remainder of my term.
