SHA congratulates windsurfing athletes for winning medals

    The Secretary for Home Affairs, Dr Patrick Ho, today (December 11) congratulated Hong Kong windsurfing team on winning a gold and two silver medals in the Asian Games in Doha.

     Chan King-yin won a gold in the Men's Mistral Light event while Ho Chi-ho and Chan Wai-kei snatched a silver in Men's Heavy Mistral and Women's Mistral respectively.
 
     Dr Ho said: "I am glad to know that our athletes have again achieved good results. This is the outcome of their perseverance to do their best."

     So far the Hong Kong delegation has won 19 medals - five gold, nine silver and five bronze in the Asian Games.
