HKSAR team grabs four more medals in Asian Games

    The Secretary for Home Affairs, Dr Patrick Ho, today (December 7) sent his heartfelt congratulations to the Hong Kong team for winning four more medals - one gold, two silver and a bronze - in the Table Tennis and Snooker events in the Asian Games in Doha.

     In Table Tennis, Li Ching and Ko Lai-chak snatched a gold medal in the Men's Doubles while Tie Ya-na and Zhang Rui won silver in the Women's Doubles. Li Ching won bronze in the Men's Singles.

     Winning a silver medal in the Snooker Men's Team Final were Marco Fu, Chan Wai-ki, and Fung Kwok-wai.
 
     "We are very much impressed by the remarkable performance of the Hong Kong delegation. We are all proud of their unfailing efforts to do their best in the Games," Dr Ho said.

     As at today, the Hong Kong team has won nine medals - two gold, three silver and four bronze.
