The Government has made the following appointments to the Management Committee of the Consumer Legal Action Fund for a term of two years with effect from December 6, 2006 ﷿

Dr Elizabeth Shing Shiu-ching
Ms Priscilla Wong Pui-sze
Miss Cecilia Woo Lee-wah

Mrs Pamela Chan Wong Shui
"We are grateful to the appointees for agreeing to serve on the Management Committee," a government spokesman said. "We are confident that the Management Committee will continue to manage the Fund efficiently and in a manner that best serves the public's interests."
The Consumer Legal Action Fund was established in 1994 to provide financial assistance to consumers wishing to take legal action against unscrupulous traders.
The Consumer Council is the Trustee of the Fund. The Management Committee assists the Consumer Council in managing the Fund and determining the eligibility of applications under the Fund.
