The Security Bureau and Immigration Department are jointly participating in the World SME Expo at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
During the exhibition period (November 29 to December 1), people wanting to know more about the prevailing immigration policies and application procedures for entry to Hong Kong as quality migrants, for investment, employment, or business visit, may visit the booth run by the Security Bureau and Immigration Department. People interested in the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme and Admission of Mainland Talents and Professionals Scheme can also attend the presentation session conducted by the Immigration Department at the venue tomorrow afternoon (November 30).
Assistant Director of Immigration (Visa and Policies) Ms Helen Chan Wing-mui, who visited the Expo today, said: "We have started issuing entry visas or entry permits to the 83 successful applicants of the first selection exercise under the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme and are actively processing new applications to prepare for the second selection exercise."
