Hongkong Post today (November 29) announced the introduction of new PostShop souvenirs and a series of Christmas promotions for PostShop and ShopThruPost.
Three new items will be added to the extensive PostShop souvenir collection, on December 1 and 11. Ideal for Christmas gifts, these products have a postal theme and are available at the 48 PostShop outlets in post offices throughout Hong Kong and through the Hongkong Post Internet shopping mall, ShopThruPost (www.shopthrupost.hk).
The Assistant Postmaster General (Business Development), Mr Dan Choi, said Christmas was a time of year to think of others and for giving gifts. These unique PostShop souvenirs could be ideal gifts for friends and relatives in the festive season.
The new Bendable Postman is a must-have item for all collectors of action figures. A quality Bendos? product, the postman's flexible arms and legs can be bent freely to create imaginative poses. The Bendable Postman comes with a plastic mailbag and envelope as mix-and-match accessories and is priced at $39.
The trendy tote bag, at $68, comes in the design of a stamp sheetlet that commemorates Hongkong Post's participation in the Washington 2006 World Philatelic Exhibition. Adorned with colourful cotton accessories, it is ideal for everyday use. Both items are available from December 1.
Uniquely designed bookends are handy reading companions. The Posting Box Bookend features images of posting boxes on both sides and allows the buyer to fold over the edges to create the bookend. Available from December 11, the bookends retail at $38 each.
"As part of the seasonal celebrations and as a token of thanks for the continued support of our PostShop patrons, customers who spend $250 or more on PostShop products via mail order or ShopThruPost will get a free heart-shaped velvet cushion, available until January 31, 2007, as long as stocks last," Mr Choi said.
Selected items in the range of PostShop souvenirs are also available at discounted prices, with up to 30% off from now until January 31, 2007.
