"Concert in the Park Goes to HKCC Piazza" will be held this Sunday (November 19) from 2pm to 7pm at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza featuring band performances by different Filipino groups. Admission is free.
This annual event provides music programmes for the local Filipino community and the public at large. The theme for this year is "Music, the language of the world".
Performing at the concert will be Hong Kong Musicians Union, Hong Kong Musicians Fusion Band, Giga Beats, Square Eyes, Filipino Musicians Club, Filipino Musicians Club Latin Band, Rendeau Ramos and his Family Band, Voltaire and Danny's Friends Band.
Programmme hosts will be popular DJs Stan Yumang and Mel Lirio.
Jointly presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Consulate General of the Philippines, "Concert in the Park Goes to HKCC Piazza" serves as a cultural exchange between the Philippines community and local citizens.
