Theatre du Pif explores Kafka's world in Nocturnal Vista
********************************************************

Theatre du Pif's new production "Nocturnal Vista", to be staged in December, explores the world of one of the most influential writers of the 20th century ﷿ Franz Kafka.

Through storytelling, drama, visual imagery and music, the company aims to capture the vast landscape of Kafka's extraordinary imagination as well as the startling absurdity and poignancy of his words. The production will be accessible and engaging and will focus mainly on Kafka's masterpiece "Metamorphosis" as well as two of his shorter tales, "Before the Law" and "The Vulture".

Theatre du Pif's Bonni Chan and Sean Curran devised this latest production. Joined by Korean theatre designer Lee Yun-soo, UK performer Alasdair Satchel (artistic director of Perhilion Theatre Company) as well as local actors, Kafka﷿s dream-like visions will be turned into an electrifying reality on stage.

A man awoke one morning and found himself transformed into a giant cockroach...

A vulture was hacking at a woman﷿s feet, her boots and stockings were already torn to threads...

They waited outside the doors... and in front of each door stood a fearsome doorkeeper﷿
