SETW to attend Ministerial Conference on Transport

    The Secretary for the Environment, Transport and Works, Dr Sarah Liao, will leave for Korea tomorrow (November 7) to attend the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) Ministerial Conference on Transport 2006 to be held this week in Busan, Republic of Korea.

     During the five-day visit, Dr Liao will meet ministers attending the conference to exchange views and share experiences on transport infrastructure development and road safety improvement in this region. She will return to Hong Kong on November 12.
