The Leisure and Cultural Services Department said today (November 5) the heated pool at the Lai Chi Kok Park Swimming Pool has been temporarily closed for cleaning and superchlorination following the discovery of a small amount of vomitus in the pool.
As the heated pool is the only pool open at the Lai Chi Kok Park Swimming Pool, the venue is now temporarily closed.
It will reopen at 7pm today.
The department appeals to swimmers to be considerate and to keep our swimming pools clean. They are advised not to swim after a full meal and should use the toilet facilities if necessary before swimming.
