The Secretary for Commerce, Industry and Technology, Mr Joseph WP Wong, will embark on a two-day visit to the Republic of Korea tomorrow (November 2).
During his stay in Seoul, Mr Wong will call on the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr Kim Myong-gon, to exchange views on promoting the film industry. Mr Wong will take the opportunity to visit the Korean Film Council, the Korean Culture and Contents Agency, and the Seoul Animation Centre to understand the latest developments in the film and animation industries there.
He will also meet with the Minister for Trade of Korea, Dr Kim Hyun-chong, to discuss bilateral trade issues and ways to restart negotiations on the Doha Development Agenda.
Mr Wong will return to Hong Kong on Friday night (November 3).
