HAD continues to open centres for heat shelter seekers

    The Home Affairs Department's nine temporary heat shelters continue to open today (June 25) while the Very Hot Weather Warning (VHWW) is still in force.

     They will be closed at 10 pm if the (VHWW) is cancelled before 4.30 pm or else the centres will be closed at 8 am tomorrow.    

     People in need of refuge from the heat may call the Department's enquiries hotline 2835 1473 for more information. The hotline operates until midnight under the VHWW.

     The nine centres are located at:
