No mail delivery on July 1

    There will be no mail delivery or collection from post boxes during the coming public holiday on July 1 (Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Establishment Day). All post offices will be closed.

     The Acting Postmaster General, Mrs Joanna Choi, said today (June 23) that on Sunday, July 2, the General Post Office, the Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office and the Airport Post Office would open for business under the usual Sunday arrangements from 9am to 2pm, while one mail collection would be arranged for all street post boxes except those on outlying islands and in remote areas.
