Martial arts theatre "Jump" from South Korea (with photos)
**********************************************************

Two stupid thieves break into the house of a Korean kung-fu family, inspiring a series of farcical scenes which will surely evoke applause and laughter from audience.

YEGAM INC. from South Korea will bring a spectacular theatrical Kung-fu comedy "Jump" which is a splendid blend of championship-level martial arts such as Tae Kwon Do, acrobatic and gymnastic skills, slick choreography and situation comedy.

The programme was a sell-out in London's West End in February following its success as the Edinburgh Fringe box office No 1 hit in 2005.

The Sunday Times appraised the show "Spectacular!". The Scotsman also acclaimed it "Hilarious. They're not just dazzling acrobats, they're blessed with remarkable comic timing - they literally don't put a foot wrong". The British Theatre Guide said "This is probably the most exhilarating 'family show'...Go and see this show and take your family and friends, too. They will love you forever."

"Jump" tells the story of an idiosyncratic Korean family under the rule of a strict grandfather who insists on keeping up the physical fitness of all family members through vigorous martial arts training. While the daily drills alone leave the audience awestruck, the performance comes to a climax when two stupid thieves break into the house and confront three generations of kung-fu masters...

YEGAM INC. was established in 2001 in Seoul, Korea, and its comic martial arts performances have appealed to people of all ages and cultures.

With three years extensive training in acting and mime, and with more than 1,000 performances under their belts, members of YEGAM INC. have honed their skills to perfection by blending the essence of acrobatics and martial arts in their performance which dazzles the performing arts industry all over the world.
