The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) today (March 15) published the March 2006 issue of its Quarterly Bulletin.
This Bulletin contains five feature articles:
* Benefits of sharing positive consumer credit data ﷿ indicating that the sharing of positive data, which began in June 2003, benefits both financial institutions and consumers.
* External demand for Hong Kong dollar currency (revisited) ﷿ re-examining a subject about which a similarly titled paper was published in March 2003.
* Financial sector output and employment in Hong Kong and New York City ﷿ comparing the two financial centres.
* Hong Kong dollar debt market development in 2005 ﷿ examining debt market performance in 2005.
* Hong Kong's renminbi business two years on ﷿ reviewing renminbi business since its introduction in February 2004.
