600 dancers have a story to tell
********************************

The Association of Hong Kong Dance Organisations will perform the dance show "Our Home Our Story" at 8pm on March 25 and 26 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Auditorium, Kwai Tsing Theatre.

"The Lion Rock", a very popular television drama in 70s in Hong Kong, not only reflected how people struggled and faced up to life's challenges, but also gave them a boost and urged them on.

"Our Home, Our story" performance is based on the "The Lion Rock" TV drama. It takes the audience through the road Hong Kong travelled, from the 1950s to the present day, highlighting the major events that helped  shape it into the Hong Kong of today. Rich with sets and props that are icons of the 70s in Hong Kong, the production also features popular Cantonese songs from the 70s. Some dancers will present the spirit of the story by different styles of dancing.

The Association of Hong Kong Dance Organisations was set up in 1992. Most of the member organisations are of long-standing and their chairmen and instructors are experienced dancers and education workers in Hong Kong. The association is committed to promoting and developing dance culture. It has given a number of large-scale dance performances, such as Legend of the Orient and Golden Silk Road in 2004.

Tickets priced at $140, $110 and $90 are now available at all URBTIX outlets.
